After dedicating over two decades to the fast-paced world of corporate retail women's fashion, specializing in buying, merchandising, and product development, I hung up my corporate heels to embrace the rewarding role of a stay-at-home mom. As my children grew more independent, the entrepreneurial spirit began to stir, and I felt the pull to author the next chapter of my professional life. Driven by a desire to create joy and connection, I ventured into the world of gifting. In 2024, the launch of WIXS on Northwood took form, a candle company in the heart of the Chicagoland area. Each WIXS candle is carefully curated with a commitment to sustainability, featuring recyclable vessels and the soothing crackle of wood wicks. This dedication to eco-conscious practices and sophisticated design seamlessly marries my lifelong passion for style with an appreciation for the simple comforts of home.
